赖曼α森林的研究进展(I):观测

摘    要

    Hubble空间望远镜和Keck镜投入使用10年来,赖曼α森林的研究取得了巨大进展,使人们对其性质和起源有了新的认识。评述了观测方面的主要成果,包括柱密度、多普勒参数、元素丰度、吸收体形状和尺度、空间分布、演化、与星系的关系等。

      


Progress in Study on Lyman αForest (I) : Observations

Abstract

      Since Hubble Space Telescope and Keck Telescope were operated, great progress in study on Lyman α forests has been made in the past 10 years. The properties and origin of Lyman α forest have been better and better understood. In this paper, the observations on Lyman α forest, including column density, Doppler parameter, abundence, size and shape of absorbers, space distribution, evolution and relationship between Lyman α forest and galaxies, are reviewed.
