Background & Objectives:
The planetary science is dedicated to exploring the origin, formation and evolution on Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter...,
and seeking life beyond Earth. The IAPS and SHAO sponsored International Summer School on Planetary Geodesy and Remote Sensing will be held
at the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, July 5-7, 2013, Shanghai, China, which will present the
latest results of research and development in planetary exploration and science. Topics include planetary geodesy, navigation, remote sensing,
atmosphere, ionosphere/plasma physics, gravity field, rotation motion, geomorphology, geophysics, etc.
