   阐述了国内外VLBI终端系统的发展历史；介绍了MK5A终端系统的概况、工作原理、工作模式和数据模式；展望了下一代VLBI终端系统MK5B和e-VLBI。

Abstract

           The history and the current status of VLBI data system is reviewed. The introduction, theory of operation, operating mode and data mode of MK5 are described in this paper. Future VLBI data system — MK5B and e-VLBI are presented.
