The Most Recent Progress on Atomic Clock
¾ Brief Introduction of 2001 FCS and PDA Exhibition

Abstract

Some most recent progress on atomic clock including cold atom clocks, comparisons, optical standards and direct digital synthesis is given according to the 2001 IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium and PDA Exhibition. ⁸⁷Rb fountain clocks now have been emphasized because its cold collision frequency shift is smaller than that for ¹³³Cs. Optical clocks have been made progress as well. The latest performance of hydrogen maser is introduced at last.
