A brief review of the current situation of space exploration of the solar system is
presented. Particular introduction is given to the meaning, object, scheme and
achievements in the exploration of the Moon, Mars, asteroids and outer planets. The
future space missions of NASA, ESA, Russia and Japan are also outlined.
