1 Scope:

Contributed papers are solicited on the probing of the terrestrial atmosphere via ground-based GPS and space-borne radio occultation methodology. Reports on the latest progress in this and related fields (say, GPS data processing) outside China are welcome.

 

2 Important dates

3 Venue

The seminar is scheduled to take place in the Liu-cheng Hotel located in Wen-jiang County, Chengdu City, in Si-chuan Province. Participants can contact the hotel via phone number: (86)-28-2723640. Transportation:

Near the north gate of the Chengdu railway station, please take bus No.69, get off at the Jin-sha station, change a bus heading for Wen-jiang county, where the Liu-cheng Hotel is only 3 minute distance by taxi. For overseas participants, a taxi at Chengdu railway station or Shuan-liu International Airport (Chengdu) is suggested (distance of more than 10 km costing RMB 60-80 yuan).

A standard room costs RMB 320-350 yuan per night.

 

4 Excursion arrangement

A four-day excursion to the Nine Villa Gorge, Du-jiang Barrier and Huang Rong costs about RMB 900 yuan for one person. Those who intend to join should check properly on the feedback form.

 

5 Registration fee

All participants for the seminar are expected to cover the registration fee of   RMB 400 yuan, which will be paid at the meeting.
